Porch Pets at Willow Pond Farm in Armada, MI
A word from Stacy:
“Friends that are “old” friends will know exactly what I am referring to when I say the word HOMEGROWN.
For those of you that are “new” friends and don’t, Homegrown Country Folk Art was my parent’s small business for many years. It was a family business and a way of life. It started when my dad lost his job of 16 years. God had a different plan. He took my mom’s extremely creative mind, artistic gifts and craftiness, mixed with my dad’s wood working smarts, muscle and hard work ethic and through it provided for our family. It blessed them, our family, and other families abundantly, in so many ways.
My siblings and I got to travel around with our parents to craft shows, toting our wares and exploring new places. We learned first hand how to interact with people, sell products, count money, respond to complaints (“the customer is always right!” = excellent customer service), be entrepreneurial, be creative, and most of all how to work hard. The business provided jobs for many of our personal friends. Those days were filled with lots of paint, laughter, music, lunch breaks, donuts, and FUN! It’s a true wonder how we managed to get anything done at all sometimes- I’m sure my parents thought the same. Memories made, memories saved. Those were the days. ️
Fast forward to now, 2019. My parents have joined with some sweet friends to bring back that HOMEGROWN, handmade in the USA, small family business that we have all missed. We are proud to announce Homegrown Reclaimed!!
Please help me welcome them, encourage them, and support them by leaving a comment below and also by “LIKING” their new FB business page. We are so thankful for all of you and your support. We are grateful that God has provided a new adventure and look forward to the road ahead. The best is yet to come...ALWAYS!”

Back to Market….Again
Thirty years ago we created art posts and a variety of hand crafted products…and then we retired. After much encouragement from friends and family, we are proud to re-introduce our first line, Porch Pets! Our two feet tall cedar post animals make the perfect addition to your home and garden.
Every Porch Pet is individually hand turned on a vintage lathe. Posts are designed and hand painted with outdoor paints and stains by talented and dedicated artists.
The expected crack in each post signifies the natural distinction of cedar and gives each pet a unique character adding charm and personality.
Porch Pets have come in a large variety of animals, including barnyard, woodland and pets. Special orders are welcome for personalizing a cherished pet. We also do memorials that are an artistic version of your pet with attention to detail including metal angel wings. Porch Pets make great gifts for that special spot in your home, your porch, deck, dock, garden.
